Grinch Day!
Thursday December 18th
Our first grade classrooms celebrate the holiday with Grinch Day. Grinch Day will be on Thursday, December 18th. Students can wear fun costumes or clothes like they are from Whoville. Please do not feel that you need to go out and purchase something special, all though you may if you would like. Hop online and check out Pinterest, or just google Whoville costumes for kids.
Last year we had all different sorts of clothes and hair arrangements. Whoville is a fun place to live, so the kids (and teachers) get to have fun with their clothes and hair!
We will have our party in the afternoon, with Grinchy Green treats. This will be from 12:00-1:20.
In the morning, we are trading students with Mrs. Jenness and Mrs. Harris. Students will have a fun activity in each room. This will not start until later in the morning however.
Pajama Day!
We will have pajama day on Friday the 19th. If for any reason we have a snow day on Thursday the 18th, we will have Grinch Day on Friday the 19th.
