Class News
I have showed students two different types of rewards they can earn. Warm Fuzzies are earned when we work together as a team and follow rules. I also have individual rewards, this is a sticker chart in the classroom. Students seem excited about following rules and keeping a friendly and fun learning environment.
During the first few weeks students will continue to learn rules and routines, as well as review important skills from kindergarten. These are the skills we will be reviewing during our lessons this week.

Baggie Books won't start until next week. New books have been ordered, and just arrived. It will take a little time for me to get them ready to send home.
Keep Books: I will send home books to keep as well. These are paper books, and don't need to be returned. As your child moves to a new level, they will get new books to add to an at home collection. Please consider keeping a box or bag of these familiar books for your child to read over and over again. Rereading familiar books helps build confidence and fluency!
Have a wonderful week!
